Hacking 5.5.0 progress

The 3DS was a special case, so don't take that as an example of what all development is like.

Once a console stops being developed they stop pushing out updates, and in turn there isn't any fear of the exploit being patched.

Progress is progress however you look at it. Saying "CURRENTLY NOT WORKING ON 5.5.0
Loadiine, Cafiine, Dumpiine, TCPGecko, etc" is not true, NW has them all working and has even released some.

And saying they all "work" creates the problems I mentioned, because they all require a kernel exploit which is NOT available to the general public.

It was locked down, because it was causing confusion and problems, because people weren't reading carefully that you still need a kernel exploit to even use them.

You say it's petty whining, I call it justified complaints and concerns, but it would not have got to this point if Hykem would have never showed up, but that's an entirely different matter ...
