Hopefully the WiiU scene doesn't completely die with all possible developers moving to the nx. :/
Hopefully ... , The main problem is that everyday that passed away it's another day more near to the NX , so the Wii U Scene time is going over and without a kernel/iosu Exploit to the vast majority of 5.5.x users , homebrew it's just stopping and we are just wasting time before the nx finally comes out (or at least get officialy announced D: )

I feat that's what's going to happen.
Especially with the rumors that Hykem was raided by Sony, and now Sema has busted his Wii U. Now the only team that remains is the "morals team", and they're indirectly killing the Wii U scene.

@Wishi - Whoops, looks like XenForo double posted.

Smea un-bricked his Wii U and got RedNAND working all within a month.

And then bricked it again (or maybe got rid of it) -

If later firmwares never get hacked, older systems with 5.3.2 or even 5.4 might gain value in the future.

I've pretty much given up hope that IOSU will come out. I haven't seen any updates on it in a while...
Especially since Hykem is MIA and Smea broke his U again. The only team left with an exploit is the "morals" team. (Funny how they have morals about piracy but not exploiting security holes.)

Ethical hackers, ones with real morals, find the exploit, then inform the company with the exploit in their software, so it can be patched ...

This. The whole "morals" line is just a cover-up to hog these exploits to themselves. Sad thing is that sheep will believe the lies.

Just work on your own exploit, it's not that difficult, jeez
What a wonderful feeling it must be to have what everyone else wants.
Next time you need everything I wish the same to you sir, just hope its not in a hospital and the doctor tells you to get a knife, a needle and some thread and do it yourself after all it must be pretty easy to him.
Have a nice day.

What's with people saying the scene is going to die when the nx comes out? Its not like the Wii,PSP and even Dreamcast stopped when their successors came out

What they really mean is they are going to buy the NX / afraid the hacking scene will move on to trying to crack the NX. However they miss the distinction between developers and crackers. It's the crackers that move on as their goal is usually to be the first to beat the security on the system. Whilst developers tend not to drop their projects so quickly until they hit a milestone, or get fed up of the whining. :p
