Querty is not the only one with the exploit, others already have it in hand, so it is beyond his control if it gets released.

I doubt a 5.XX Kernel Exploit would leak, all the people who have it are trusted by qwerty. Although it would be nice to have a newer hack out

5.50 webkit is already publicly available, 5.01-05 kernel is already privately distributed,

To be fair, from what i understand querty hasn't ever released any kernel exploits publicly, it was specterdev that released 4.05, and an Anon that leaked 4.55 so I wouldn't put to much stock in waiting for querty to release it.

It is possible they are waiting on 5.50 kernel exploit before releasing 5.0x, however querty has said he doesn't plan on finding one any time soon, so that doesn't look good!

It's really difficult being left in limbo like this.... a lot of the 4.05/4.55 guys look down their noses and couldn't care less - nobody here btw, the guys here are pretty empathetic with our plight haha

A frustration this week when I found out a local friend of a friend was selling a Batman Limited Edition ps4 here for £300, what's worse is he posted up pictures with the receipt showing a purchase price of £199, haha the scalping bastard

People grab a date out of thin air, or make it up completely.

Just look for patterns: is it a significant date already (easter/xmas/thanks giving) is it 420/911/123 etc.

Unless a dev states it, don't believe it.

I suspect sony will release an update soon (is it 4 month cycle?) perhaps we will see something 5.0x after that as no chance of PSN.

I have decided to wait this month out. If we don't get a release or even some sort of confirmation from a respected dev before the next month starts i am going to sell my ps4 and be done with this.

Ps5 is coming out next year if not this year. I will just buy that one.

He will release 1 year old kexploit 5xx after ps4 incoming top titles sells good frist. Qwertyoruiop is a sony worker i dont belive they never tried to contact him and give him a offert. pffff

everything is good for sony
qwerty want to do the same

For newcomers I’ll repeat:
It won’t happen soon because:
1- the same exploit is being used by qwerty in iOS (still works on iOS 11.3)
2- Nothing but piracy had progressed so i don’t think that qwerty will burn this exploit for only piracy

What we can hope/do:

1- make good homebrews etc..
2- hope for Apple to patch the exploit

Yea why not sony couldn't hire a fake ps4 hacker called qwertyoruiop give him security keys and tell him to release kernel exploit for old firmwares which are able to play only old games which people buy from themselves or exchange for other games.Very smart move from sony to boost up console sells and get rid off ps4 old models that are full of stock at retailers. Qwertyoruiop will not release anything without sony premission also he didnt release 4.55 for coummnity but for sony and their money. Anncoument of 5.01-5.05 kernel exploit by qwertyoruiop was serving to discourage other people to start working at ps4 hacking.

Ios 11.4 beta is out. I hope they fix the bug in the beta.

And about homebrew, how are people supposed to make homebrew when the kex is not even out yet. You know most people are on 4.7x plus right?

Deank said he will make multiman for ps4 so that is a homebrew.
