Homebrew 3ds will not read sd card

i have a9lh so 3ds will not even boot but when i put the sd card in computer it reads but 3ds will not read it

Is it a brand new SD Card? Is it possibly over 32gb? Did you format it to FAT32?

Use this tool if it's brand new.

More details please. Is this an SD card that you have been using with your 3DS or a new one? What model 3DS?

not new i used it before and it stooped working when i put a file on it. its an old 3ds

best to post a screenshot of the folder contents.

Possible SD problems with 3DS-A9LH:
1. Wrong format
2. Missing files in the SD required to boot A9LH
3. Incompatible SD card
4. Faulty Micro SD adapter(even if it works on a laptop/PC it does not guarantee that it'll work with your 3DS)
5. Faulty 3DS SD card slot.

going to try another sd card but thr problem is i only have this problem when i put a cia file one the sd card its werid
