Hacking 3DS unbricking progress

Has anyone tried any unlock codes that might be obvious ones to check.....I.e gateway (would be pretty damning evidence it was intentional if they did set it to that XD) or say the consoles serial number, also I was wondering with the whole "0" password code that was found and the fact that gateway are supposed to be able to know if the user was using the official launcher, could it not be possible they are using say the first block of the sd card as the password, as that is different between clones and gatway emunand setups.....I.e gateway uses gatewaynand, and the clones use r4iemunand and 3dsemunand etc....idk just a idea

You should, but none of the "testers" could make it work.
There are some reports of success though they are very obscure.
An user, Kahlaa reported that the Arduino erased his nand, but then the console fell and broke, so we can never know if it was recovered.
Other guy from France is offering the service of unbricking using Arduino, but he is not revealing the setup or procedure he follow....

I used the 4GB SD card that came with 3ds for testing and could leave him with 0 bytes.
The program works fine with SD cards up to 4GB.

I don´t think is size related. I failed erasing and locking a 128mb Kingston card.
Later Krisztian1979 confirmed that he encountered problems with another Kingston card. Aparently, some have the lock feature disabled

In which scheme you also saw to connect the output of 3.3 V SD shield, at least I did not find anything related to it.

In this same topic they explain me that I needed to connect the shield to 3.3 to get power for it.
