Just a tip to be aware of it coming...

https://twitter.com/...545921345228800

"Get ready for a system update on 4/25 that will allow you to organize your HOME Menu by creating folders. Now you can find your favorite downloadable games, videos and demos faster than ever!" - Facebook Nintendo Page

"During the Nintendo Direct broadcast, company President Satoru Iwata has announced that a new firmware update for the Nintendo 3DS is on the way. The update will include the functionality of folders which can house up to 60 titles inside. Also of interest is the fact that patching functionality will be added to the update. Nintendo intends to patch Mario Kart 7 first to address a few “short cut issues”. - http://www.nintendog...olders-patches/ (Thanks roastable!)

[UPDATE] - Update is now live... sorry I wasn't able to update this as quick as I wanted to. Just a day late... :P

Things to note:

New version is 4.0.0.7U - thx princefarzan
eShop has been revamped - thx Nollog & others

"be careful if you update make sure you keep the 3DS plugged AND you have a stable internet connection, or your device would render useless". - good tip Coto

I hope they add a little more than just the ability to create folders. I'd like to see an improved internet browser, such as improved loading times and the ability to view large images (I would say videos too, but we all know that's never going to happen).

I'd like to see some other improvements too, but the Folders looked like they would be customizable. This is a great start, IMO.

This was all in Nintendo Direct, right?
Apparently we're getting a Maka Wuhu fix?

A step closer to home themes. :D

I want to be able to view multiple pocs whether as in one time or slide quickly through selected pics, so the process can be faster.

Well, browser performances improve for a lot of electronics (in particular phones) with system updates.

The Mario Kart 7 patch probably came too late, I think a lot of people affected by it probably moved on already.
Thankfully though this means future titles can get patches, too!

Also yes I could actually use the folder sorting, sort by Ambassador titles, Virtual Console, Video downloads, DSiWare and clutter.

I too was hoping for other improvements last night instead of just this ONE..But I guess this is better than nothing for now.

So, with this update coming soon those who have a flash card should wait to update right? Until their flash card has been updated first?

Nintendo of America announced that there will be an Update for the 3DS on April 25th. What I'm wondering is what are the chances of Flashcards continuing to work with the update without needing an upgrade of the Flashcard firmware. I myself have a Supercard DSTwo and was wondering if I needed to wait for an update to it before updating my 3DS in order to keep using it.

@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
