hi :P I'm new here, and tired, so I'm sorry if I've messed something up! I recently bought a copy of My Secret World for the DS from a second hand store. It's a diary game aimed at tween girls, I enjoyed the idea of using this random game as my actual journal so I bought it. When I opened it on my 3DS, there was an existing save file (last opened 26 December 2013), but I couldn't access it because I didn't know the 4 digit PIN or the security question. I tried a bunch of super common PINs (like 0000, 1234, 9876 etc) but no luck. I erased the file (my new diary is going strong, it's actually a fun little game), but before I did I saved a backup with Checkpoint of the original save. I'm curious if there's a way of getting around that lock, without just straight up brute forcing? Is there anything I could use to look into this more? Honestly I'm most interested in the process (if it can be done) than the actual diary.

Hello, I like handhelds and Pokemon so I am of course looking for a Nintendo console I can buy. Naturally I had gotten the latest console back in 2018 but my experience was less than stellar because of a plethora of reasons(stick drift, patched console, bad pokemon games!!). Lately though I've kind of fallen in love with the 3DS, It just looks so cool and innovative and had a great game library too not even mentioning the modding community. It being an extremely old console I'd expected for it to be cheap but Its like 300 bucks. I can kinda see why, its a great console and I guess something happened for it to be relevant again. But I want to get this console nevertheless so I wanted a bit of advice on what to do. Should I buy it now since the prices will continue to rise or is this just a trend and shoul I wait for the prices to lower again? Many thanks.

Soon, after my 3DS gets repaired (it's about to completely break externally), I am planning to format my 3DS for a fresh start.
Currently, it is HACKED so I plan to back up the entire SD card, un-hack, format, then hack again and restore everything. I do have a few questions..

Can I restore the entire SD card when I un-hack, format, and hack again?
What can be backed up and restored from the SD card
I understand my friend code will be changed, so what will not work with a different friend code?
Can I back up everything for all software (including Swapdoodle) and restore it after I re-hack everything again?
Will I have any problems re-hacking after I un-hack it? My friend did something similar, except he formatted before unhacking, and his DS is causing issues..

Important notes would be nice to, before I wipe everything. Advice is good too
