Are you a real Canuck living in Great Maple Mouse Moose Poutine Hockey Land, or is that flag flair a call back to ol' far away home?

Granted USD and CDN differ in exchange rates from time to time but quick search for '256 gb micro sd cards in Amazon.ca gives ~ CA $45-55 for popular brands.
Or, do you live in a province that's further away from the more densely populated regions that's not so nice to those who shop for online orders?

People will get pissed off when I say this but you could run a Gateway. I probably wouldn't buy one unless its like $5. The blue cart is worth a fiver. That being said you CAN run roms off of the GW red cart. MOST 3ds games work. It's very easy to swap out the SD on a GW as well. You would be limited to .3ds files, games that don't need Wi-Fi and only games that run on 11.2 in GateWay mode... I do this personally. I have a 128 GB internal and a couple 32 GB cards I use in the GW. I put most of my games on Luma and the old GW 3ds files with no WiFi and in the right FW range on the GW. I like having separate EmuNANDs and GW SD cards for my nephews. EmuNAND 1 is GW, EmuNAND 2 is a sandbox in luma and SysNAND is the main driver. They are young and they will play with settings. Anytime it's in GW mode its running on EmuNAND. They can easily swap SD cards on the GW because the slot is right there. I have a Multi-Boot to go to Luma, GateWay Corbenik, ReiNAND, and CakesFW. too... Haven't used them old CFWs in quite some time but they exist..

I was wondering about this. I saw it a long time ago. I think it works but needs to be implemented in specific apps. Would be awesome for storing all the Emu ROMS....Think ShinyQuagsire was working on it...

    :(

If you buy stateside from B&H Photo Video and have it mailed over to Canada (example: British Columbia), something like this US $34 Lexar 256 GB micro SDXC will cost you US $47.17 after including shipping and duties & taxes. Current (Feb-26-2020) exchange rate of USD $1 ⇄ CAD $1.33 comes out to CAD $63. It's cheaper than the previous prices you found, but I still think that's not a fair rate.

Is there any way around the credit card or VISA capable debit card requirement, like prepaying Amazon gift card in stores?

What brand? Oh man, I'm not gonna trust a no brand.

Ulltimate retro rig library filled with NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, NDS, SMS, GEN, PS1, ScummVM, Atari 800, C64, MAME, NGP(C), HOME Menu themes, etc. on top of the +300 various 3DS games.

From my experience, the more you have means the less you'll play. I think it's called paralysis by too many options.

I'm using a Lexar x633 128GB micro one on my O2DS and works perfectly, both speed-wise and reliability-wise, never had problem with that line of cards in the 7+ years I've been using them! But anyways, I gotta ask, what's your obsession with MOFLEX movies anyways? Watching a movie on a tiny screen with shit resolution like the 3DS is a terrible way to watch movies, just watch them on PC or something at full HD with surround 7.1 or better audio with woofers and everything like a boss, all on a big screen you can actually SEE what is on it:P

My obsession with MOFLEX movies? anyways well i have a gaming PC .. i have every damn console in the world hacked .. i have 8 TB of movies tv shows and music ... but i kept on downloading Moflex films ... 170 gig ... & its really hard to find now that ISO site is gone ... PLUS i do like films in 3D ... & i just got $7000 in taxes so im going to spend some extra cash on crap ... and the rest for my Mortgage ..ect ... ... but simply put i just want to get 170 gigs back on my Laptop by putting all the films on a SD Card to go on my N3DS .... i mean why not ... i doubt i will watch them all .... ever .. but we take long trips to the beach to Florida .. might keep the kids happy in the back of my Jeep ect .. but most of all i just wanna do it ... because i can atm i have a 10 inch tablet with a 400 gig SD just for trips .. i fly to and from USA and London Often films will always look better in 2k on a bigger screen tablet .... but they aint in 3D ....

You have every console in the world? As in PSP and PSVita included, aka systems made with watching HD movies in mind, yet you choose the 3DS...:rofl2: And let me tell you a little something, it's cheaper to get a TB worth of space with an external HDD than a 256+GB SD card.

I don't know what makes you think I don't know this obvious information ? But yeah I have a Ps Vita . . 8TB x 2 of all my films and shows ( I made a backup).. & blah blah blah... So much systems & stuff I've collected over the years ....
    But
Again I can't watch Star Wars in 3D . On my Vita or Switch or Samsung Tablet ... Or Even my Gaming Pc on the go..... I mean I have everything I need to do it
    So why not really ....
It's pretty much done after the card comes tommorow morning... All I have to do is copy it all over ...
    End of story ...
Again I think films in 3D are different & cool & I plan on collecting as much as possible....
I had similar odd addictions trust me .... Hacked ROMS . Years ago Dreamcast stuff I could probably bore you to tears.... I had a real thing for HD Projectors years ago .
. Next week it will be something new random and costly .. But that's me ...

I feel your pain. Having money and this crazy itch to do things just because. I hate this feeling because it leads me down this rabbit hole that goes on and on. I would hunt down wii u games I can't find online, so I would buy them just to rip, install on my wii u and to just look at it. Hope you can kick this moflex thing because watching videos on that 3ds screen is pretty awful compared to all of your other devices. I would bet, the cheapest amazon kindle screen would be way better to watch movies.

Any chance you can get a hold of a plasma 3d tv? I'm still holding onto mine atm. I went ahead and collected 25 3D glasses. Now, anyone who wants to watch 3D movies, I'll have enough glasses for the whole room. I think 3D is pretty cool too and wished it didn't die off.

well i got my Tax im only spending around $400 on me the rest is for the Family ..... but back in the day when 3D tv was a new thing we bought one with the expensive glasses .. and i just remember not liking it much at all ... might of been the glasses .... but mostly it was shit ... not really 3D .. more of a tech fad ...... the sd card came its at home but ive still got a long day a work yet ..... is their 3D tv's without glasses these days ?? I Know there are projector that do decent 3D ................. i dont think the picture quality is that bad on N3DS at all ...... its sharp .... it all depends on the encode .... but my little collection looks great!!
P.S i have a big 10 inch Tablet .. i use on flights .. this Moflex ~Flex is a cheapy thing for me really 256 sd card $35 Amazon .... & i will have a Spare 128 gig after ..im simply doing this so i can back them up more than anything ~!~ on my n3DS

yeah, 3d stuff really has gone quiet. ps3 had a bunch of 3d games, ps4 has virtually 0.
    the reason is VR.
VR is cool, but so is 3d by itself.

if you can't find any tvs, you can probably still find 3d projectors, I have one, it's great, and not so expensive.
