Well im not sure if this is the right thread to ask this but is there a way to extract the content from the 3ds roms like 3d models?

no, everything is encrypted and we don't have access to the files, even less to the decrypted files that you could modify/reuse.
It's not the best thread to talk about that, but just know that it's not possible yet.

I did not know there were that many 3DS games released so far from the list I saw. I'm assuming that development and production costs must be a lot higher as I don't see as much shovelware on this system as we did on the DS in the same amount of time from console release.
