it's imaginaryware. Nyko's just trolling you. that thing's been announced even before launch, but never materialized.

if it had, i would one of the first to own one. for sure. battery pack + external speakers + bigger grip + bulky armor casing = 3DS heaven for me. be nice if they turned it into a robot though.

maybe, but that's stretching it. maybe a squarish Battletech kinda robot, or Front Mission. the casing has movable parts that unfold into a robot.

Looks like shit. I have a Zelda 3DS and I don't want this fatso stopping me from seeing my lovely artwork. Plus it adds weight. Plus I don't like the styling of it. A 3DS is not meant to look like a tank.

They got scared when the 3DS belly-flopped during launch and cancelled it.

Now that it's sailing on clear blue skies with no competitor in sight, they missed a very huge opportunity.
