I read an article that says "R4I SDHC 3DS RTS" is a flashcart with a "wood menu" that allows cheating on the 11.0.

Am I correct? I've been wrong so many times on this console XD.

So is my understanding that if I
1. Buy a R4I SDHC 3DS RTS
2. download the r4i gold firmware and move it onto the root of my sd card
3. Follow the rest of the instructions

I will be able to play 3ds games with cheats!

Use the 5.5.7zip file, inside the archive there is some files. Simply copy the folders inside the archive to the SD card like this chart shows.

Use the blue file if you are using a9lh, or use the purple files if you are using Emunand, And always use the Green files.
(If the pc ask to merge the files, select yes if it does during the transfer.)

If you are looking for the free shop app, the latest version of FBI installer 2.4.1 Has a option ont he main menu called "TitleDB" it has a list of homebrew youu can install by simply selecting which one you want. The enctitlekey updater, Freeshop, and CIangel Are all available there. You can easily get it on your system that way, if you need a simple way to do it. You can scan these qr codes with the "QRCODE SCAN" option in FBI

Is it save to use my NNID on my emunand? I dont want to be banned or lose any of my stuff on there.
Or do i need to make a new NNID to use luma 3ds safely ?

Also does it happen a lot that .cia games are broken and wont play a certain part of the game?
And can you get banned by playing online on a not legit game file?

1. Yes. You'll only be banned if you use a 3ds fłashcart without private headers, or you abuse the Miiverse custom image tool, or you cheat online a lot.
2. I've only heard problems coming from using the N3DS overclocking feature on Luma on a few specific games, but very uncommon
3. You can't get banned using installed cia files (except maybe by cheating a lot online).

Is safe to use Emunand with luma, Cia installed games are safe to play online, You won't get banned, just don't make it obvious like cheating in games online, or posting hax on miiverse. You will be okay.

R4I SDHC are not 3DS flash cart, is a NDS flashcart that works on 3DS, it won't help you cheat in 3DS games, only NDS games.

I am pretty sure it will only play DS games. The only flashcarts that let you play 3DS games are Sky3DS or Gateway or clones of them. In which case you can only do the same or less than you can with the originals.

Yeah i think she had assumed it would let her cheat in her 3DS games, she been asking for a save data mod for her game after seeing some Spiderhax codes on that fort42 Site with gateshark and ar codes.

I asked if someone will help her but seem like no one wants to

DS flashcarts will not get you banned. Pkhex should be safe.

Alright this is my final plan.

2. Homebrew it as in update to the 9.2 and the turn it into a CFW (or which ever version has the web browser injection).
3. Use that to cheat Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon to change my Hero pokemon to Beedrill or Duskull.
4. Save
5. Put the PSMD cartridge into my 3DS XL with the 11.0 firmware since the one on ebay is heavily scratched and whatnot.
6. Live happily ever after.

I downloaded fieldrunners from freeshop just to check it before buying and played a little bit(it was fun).Then I deleted it from my system and deleted the ticket key from FBI (EU version ticket: 000480044b464456)
Will I have any problem with buying the legit one from e-shop(problem with pirate ticket or not transfering to my N3DS because of that) and start downgrading my N3DS XL following Plailect's Guide ?

If you deleted the ticket, you should be able to purchase it. If you purchase it, then it shouldnt be a problem.
