Ok that worked. So here's my issue I unlocked my Palico Weapons/Armor but I can't craft any of them, even though I have the materials IN my inventory. I don't get it? Why can't I craft anything? I have the mats.

Pressing X on boot to open Decrypt9, pressing Start on boot to launch Hourglass9, etc. Check your luma folder and see if you have a payloads folder. Use Section I of Part 5 of Plailect's guide to add those payloads to your luma/payloads folder if they aren't there already. https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Other-features-and-notes <- Look under Payload Chaining.
Oh, okay. I was in such a buzz to get to freeshop that I ignored almost half the instructions. Do you happen to know if I need to install something to get the GBA games from the freeshop to run?

You shouldn't have to install anything to get them to work.

Does anyone know about why I can't craft the Palico Armor in MHGenerations? I have all the stuff needed, but it won't let me craft them.

Nope. I have them right here, but the game is saying I don't have the scraps. I don't get it and I have them in stacks of 99 RIGHT here.

Hey all, I've been away from the 3DS scene for a long while. Recently bought a SKY3DS+ and a private header. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with my system so that I can utilize online functionalities of the games. I haven't been updating my 3DS XL (the old one) for a very looong time, it's currently on ver. 6.2.0-12U. From what little I've read so far it seems like it's better to hack the system instead of updating to the latest firmware even though that SKY3DS+ can work with the last update.

Any pointers will be much appreciated!

What version are you on? I've never had this issue.
Another, "I'm an idiot" moment. I was still on sys 9.2. Updated to sys 11, now working. If I have any regret about the whole experience, it's probably that I wish I could've done this on a New 3DS XL so I could get the SNES CIAs. Thanks again for the help!

Use the ones from the SafeA9LHInstaller zip.

Yep, as you suspected, it is better to set up CFW and sell your Sky3DS. But don't sell it yet - you can use it to update to 9.2 easily and then use it as Cubic Ninja (if you update with a game, browserhax won't work so you need cubic ninja).

Follow this guide (start with the 9.2 update section, if you want to use your Sky then choose the update with a cart section of that page): https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki

I think it should still work fine, but rxTools is very, very outdated at this point and has been abandoned by the dev team for several months.

I'd recommend setting up Arm9LoaderHax and Luma3DS (CFW) by following this guide. If you don't want to install A9LH, I'd still recommend updating to a newer CFW (such as Luma).

If a NNID is on a console #1, can i somehow delete it from there and put the NNID games on a new console #2 (and it will forget the NNID was linked to #1 old console) or do you need to use System Transfer in order for #1 to be out of the link forever? Thanks
