For those bickering about the name, DS meant Dual Screen. So 3DS could be 3D Screen. Or 3 Dual Screen. Because obviously people want 6 screens.

I really like the idea of an analog stick or two. That would make games quite a lot easier to play such as Super Mario 64 DS (I'd buy one just to play that game with a stick).

i also thought it might mean 3 dual screen,

my theory is it will be a cube, because since a cube has six sides it would be possible to implement 6 screens,
the previous device gamecube shows that they like cubes and might make more

As for the 3DS, I doubt that the title would refer to having any more than two screens. Of course, I could be wrong.

i really like that one 2 though all these designs seem to imply it will be like holograhpic i thought that (which i think is a more realistic idea) you would just be able to view at angles say while playing animal crossing being able to see the left side of somebodys house by viewing the screen from a leftmost point of view??


this seems quite realistic, though it would be very difficult to take control with the control stick cause there is way to less space between it and the 3d control stick,
also isn't it rumored that the two screens will be neatly linked to one another to make it able to really use it as one screen?

As I said in another thread, I reckon the screens will be moveable just for those DSi games that need the camera in the centre. Ok we still don't know if ALL DSi games are compatible we just know its some.
