Hacking 3ds guide help please.

Section III - Launching FBI

Launch the Download Play application

Press (L) + (Down) + (Select) at the same time to open the Rosalina menu

Select “Miscellaneous options”

Select “Switch the hb. title to the current app.”

its says "operation failed" (no suitable process found.)

I'm stuck, can't continue on to launch homebrew

What title are you using? (So I can replicate and troubleshoot)

At the cost of being repetitive, are you sure are you opening Rosalina INSIDE the Download Play app? Because to me sounds like you have not any app opened

Try using download play. Also, launch the rosalina menu in the title.

Try with another application that you don't use and see if it gives the same error (I set H&S and it works perfectly).
It's not mandatory to use Download Play

Hello.
I have another problem at that step from the same guide.
I open download play, load the rosalina menu, switch hb title to current app.
That works, then i back out, open download play again, and it crashes with a dump file, arm11 crash
i did 2 other 3ds following that guide, i don't get it.

Any idea would be massively appreciated, thank you!

Try to change the base app.
I use Health & Safety and it works for me. It could be a bug with Rosalina, latest releases of Luma crash sometimes

Make sure you're using the latest files as linked in the guide, don't use files you already had on your computer.

It was actually the base files.

I am having hte same problem. I used download and play, and Activity log, they both "crashes with a dump file, arm11 crash" Health and Safety didn't do anything. Any other suggestions? UPDATE..I just tried another app ARgames and it still crashes..

This is quite an outdated post, are you using https://3ds.hacks.guide?

You have CFW. If you want to know which version, hold Select on boot. It will tell you what version Luma you are running.
 
It says I'm running Luma3DS v8.1.1 If I am on custom firmware, why would i need to follow that guide? I had FBI on my menu. I formatted my SD and did a system update and that's where I am at now. No FBI to install anything
