Will it be possible to play 3DS roms on DS/DSi's?
End of thread.
The only console ever to have forward compatibility was the Wonderswan.
For real. I don't feel like going into detail, but it shouldn't take that much brainpower to figure out why it can't happen.
I saw this thread and I laughed, I cried, I facepalmed, I felt sorry, I looked again, and then I just wondered why anyone would ever think such a thing were possible.
But is possible to play NDS games in Nintendo 3DS right? xD
Summed up perfectly.
I don't know what it is that makes people wonder that it could be possible.
i question the seriousness of this question
Probably, Nintendo systems usually do backwards compatibility with a system one gen behind. You just won't have 3D on them, obviously.
and the GameBoy, even if there were some Color exclusives..
The 3DS plays NDS games. It's confirmed to have backwards compatibility
If only it can
Nah, Nintendo just wants you to buy a new handheld.
Secretly you can just put 3DS games in a DS and it works.
Yes, everyone, let's go back to the one April fools day where a PS3 emulator for Wii was released, shall we?
Was this thread really necessary couldn't you have figured this one out by thinking?
The answer is a big fat No...
The DS Lite, DSi and DSiXL want to counter your argument.
Nintendo -LOVES- when you re-buy hardware because they're the only company who makes a profit off the hardware. Every other console maker loses money on hardware and recoups it based on game sales.
This would be like trying to play Wii games on the NES...
It is possible, but not probable.
Well yeah, just like how you can play DS games on the GBA.
