happen once with my mario kart on the DS . same thing happen and it worked . even when mom puts bleach . . . . .
How the fuck do you drop headphones in??? Were they shitty earbuds or FULL ON headphones?I dropped a pair of headphones into the toilet but thats about it. How do people drop 3DS, phones, and other things in there, its like common sense.
Oceanic salt water is 4782391507x more destructive than OP's washing machine imo, not even a close comparisonI accidentally kept a 3DS Cartridge in my pocket once when I went to the beach.
It was ruined.
You got lucky.
well salt water is a bit more agresive so that could be why.I accidentally kept a 3DS Cartridge in my pocket once when I went to the beach.

I had them tucked into my sweatshirt and connected to my phone in my pocket. I must have l leaned over to flush the toilet or something and they slipped out from my jacket. Only the earbud parts. But that was 4 years ago and they still work, other than a slight fray in the cord somewhere. How the fuck do you drop headphones in??? Were they shitty earbuds or FULL ON headphones?
Make sense... I had a DS Lite in a bag of stuff to be taken over to my mother's house, and EVERYTHING in that bag was dumped into the washing machine. Needless to say it got fisted.I had them tucked into my sweatshirt and connected to my phone in my pocket. It's not waterproof, it's just that electronics aren't easily damaged by water unless they are powered on. The problems with water is that it can short something if powered (or if there's still water in there the next time you use it), or the contacts/parts can become corroded over time. The latter might not even be an issue as long as the corrosion is minor. Also, batteries don't like water very much, especially not lithium batteries, but 3DS carts don't use a battery for saving.i accidentally left a 3ds game in my pocket and it got washed. I was expecting to have ruined game, or at least the inability to save.but when i put it in my 3ds it was fine .
Salt water? Because that's far worse.I accidentally kept a 3DS Cartridge in my pocket once when I went to the beach.
It was ruined.
