Hi! I decided to write a post here because I have a very peculiar problem with my New 3DS XL. Any help would be appreciated.
3ds boots into GM9 and Luma (v.13.3.3). However, it can't access the Home Menu; it shows unlit screens, and the network and power LEDs are lit. I went through the entire "black screen fix" article on the Homebrew Wiki.
The console booted to the initial setup menu after a manual CTR transfer.
After setting up a profile, it sttoped responding to the Home button on the screen where you are asked to press it to access the home menu. (During this, 3D and sound work, and the Rosalina menu can be accessed with a key combination).
2DS/3DS Saver doesn't allow me to skip the setup (although I'll probably try again) it just leads to black screen again. The Home button works fine in GM9.
I'm sure it's a software issue. A hardware test showed no errors, and all ribbon cables are intact. As mentioned, during the initial setup all functions work fine. Any suggestions?
It seems to me as if some data related to the home menu has been corrupted? Maybe I should try finding a .cia file for the 3DS menu and installing it? I'm really frustrated
