Getting an error message when trying to dump all extdata. (AM_GetTitleCount() failed: 0xd8e007f7) Am on the latest version, using NH2.5. Anyone have any idea as to why this might be?

EDIT: Wait, nevermind! I'm an idiot, don't listen to me!
yeah, I also got this error before I format again My SD card and re copying all the files again.

I get this error when trying to restore files from config.txt

Archive_GetFileSize() ret=00000002, size=0x00000000
Copying Failed!

Can someone help me?

It doesn't seem to like BadgeData.dat...

Getting a 'Copying failed!' message when utilizing the config, and it straight up doesn't show up when dumping all extdata. Anyone else had this happen?

If it doesn't show up when dumping all, not even with an error... surely the file doesn't exist to dump?

I can get BadgeData.dat with this tool; I just can't restore it. Shame really, as I designed a replacement badge and I can't even use it...

What do you mean by you can't resore it? I'm able to restore it. Did you edit the config.txt properly?

Possibly not. Could you tell me what line you used? I asked here but didn't get a response.

Put this in your config.txt
Code:
RESTORE "BadgeData.dat" "000014d1:/BadgeData.dat"

Also make sure that the BadgeData.dat is in the same folder as the .3DSX and .SMDH

restart your homwbre launcher then try again. I also got same error sometimes.

Those two things did the trick. However, I can't seem to place the badge for whatever reason. It flashes onscreen, then disappears. Then I'm told I don't have any badges and that I need to get some. Bwa? Restarting the Nintendo Badge Arcade just puts me back at square one. I think my file is corrupt or something.

I'll keep you informed. Thanks for the help!

EDIT: No, it just keeps playing peek-a-boo with the badges, even after I inserted the backup file I made beforehand. I mean, they're just badges; I wasn't using them anyway. But it's frustrating nevertheless.

I found what was causing my problems.

All in all, I have 38 unique badges (47, counting duplicates). I, naturally, have all of 'em in my badge box. However, extdata dump fails when dumping BadgeData.dat... with all 38 in. If I ONLY put in, say, my Mario Bros set (9 badges) and nothing else, it dumps just fine.

Might this be some form of size issue?

Thanks :D i testing you tutorial now, anyway is possible to get all puzzle swap pieces ?

Not sure if that's extdata or just plain savedata, in which case you'd want svdt instead. In either case, the save format isn't documented at all.

I'm trying to use this for Badge hacking however when I I dump and restore data it fails. Any help? Thanks in advance!
