Sounds like it's gonna be an interesting talk. Curious about the Wii U section though since that was covered pretty thoroughly by fail0verflow already.

I'm kind of surprised people aren't stepping up and offering this as a service.

I know many people here say they own more than one 3DS. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it would seem plausible that you could use a single 3DS with CFW multiple times to downgrade other 3DS systems. I think this could even be done remotely, where someone would pay you to set up their NNID on your system, buy a required game, set up the exploit and system transfer it to their 3DS.

I heard two different rumors: one slowhax doesn't need any dsi titles and just a way to access homebrew and the other being that it does require homebrew access and a dsiware title...

@DarkRiolu264 It's impossible to downgrade an 11.1.0 and + with only a kernel exploit (heaphax exist on 11.0.0 but will never release).
Anyway, if slowhax is out soon, we will need a DSiWare game to downgrade, here the proof : https://3ds.guide/nfirm-downgrade

Supposedly there exists a a race condition in the anti-downgrade code that would allow downgrading ctr-nand titles again on firmwares 11.0-11.1. Don't know if that actually exists or if it will be shown at 33c3.

no one wants to go through the trouble of DSIwaredowngrade its not really a pain in the ass but its sure as hell time consuming i do 3ds modding in my area and i sure as hell dont want to be doing a dsiwaredowngrade every week

But if you were to offer it as a paid remote service, you could simplify your part down to buying a DSIware game, system transferring, and restoring your nand. And leave the rest for the other person to do.

Am I wrong?
