Question to decap-pursuers, what do you attempt to extract from this information?

Possible access to the DFT interface? Coprocessor ISA?
If it has anything like HAMC-SHA1 with OTP to en/decode data, like some devices,
it may be hard to really reach any valid data from the device.

I probably should've asked this after I read on what the current roadblock is... sorry if this is retarded question.

Also do they give you just the layout? or do they segregate all the standard cells and give you some schematic as well?
Because if they used high congestion, less metal layers, to save costs, it may be extremely long to parse the layout and its P&R.

It seems like a huge project to analyze SoC, even if they may be partitioned very nicely.

In other news, the 3DS' hardware-based security measures appear more vigorous than the Vita's software-based holes. A software flaw linked with a plausible way to interact with such a breach would make progress faster.
