Okay so I updated Luma with GM9, after I was getting a fail firm patch message. I thought My ds was still in a quasi brick state as it was stuck on a black screen for a solid while with no error message. I go about making this account to ask about this, as I couldn't find any threads covering this. I turn around to see that I find it finally working, and I rebooted it and it boots up normally now. Is this a known issue of temporary long boot times?

Yeah, occasionally some file gets corrupted and the 3DS has to take up to 10 minutes to fix it. Shouldn't happen too often though.

Oh okay thanks. Out of curiosity is this file corruption corrector part of Luma or the 3ds? Also could it be due to not unmounting a Gamecart from GM9?
