Homebrew 3ds apps not booting

Ok so I have an O3DS with b9s and the latest luma. I can still run GM9 and Rosalina HBL. When I open
a 3DS cartridge or any other app, the 3ds is stuck on a black screen. The console reboots onto the home menu as normal when I press the A button. Have I bricked my 3ds or badly damaged it?

Check to see if boot.firm is on the root of your SD card.

And also i notice the touchscreen gets brighter, before pressing A.

Wchanging your boot.firm isn't going to change anything... What happens when you use an other cartridge?

When I put in a 3DS cartridge, it runs normally like any other 3ds.
When I put in any DS cartridge, or swap it, I get a black screen what reboots when I press A.
