Hi Lucina, I discovered you can use devmenu, the lower version than bbm...
i tried installing it with my old devmenu version and it installed without a problem.

The exploit worked perfectly and I was able to make an edit with my FE Awakening file just to test it out.
worked without a hitch.

Just get sky3ds and problem solved, for those looking to play 3DS games for free via downloading online. All 3DS Models.

Those looking just for homebrew, can upgrade to 9.9 and do the tubeHAX (still works), as the youtube app hasn't been fixed and is still available to download from the store.

Buying the gateway card & cubic ninja is a waste of money at the moment.
Sky3DS allows you to just download cubic ninja and then use that exploit for homebrew if you want (if you aren't on 9.3-9.9 AND/OR can't do tubeHAX for some reason). Gateway doesn't work on 9.3+. For those on 9.2 or below, you can just do gateway for free without the flashcart.

Now staying on topic:
3DNUS doesn't work, for any version (that I've tested). It always get stuck somewhere down the line.

I even tried 9.9.0-26E (latest version) and that doesn't work either.

Right now I have version 9.5 on my XL but. I want the system nand firmware back to 9.4. And 3DNUS won't allow me to do that
