Homebrew 3d slider acting as volume controls ?!? Wtf ?!?

Recently I opened my 3dsxl and replaced the bottem touch screen and also replaced the case as the right hinge was broken ,this is the third xl I have fixed the right hinge

I also have a broken 3d slider what I haven't botherd looking at

Since putting it back together my volume slider wasn't responding so I have orders another .

Then I tried to play the denpa men and realised it was quitting the game because my Canada was faulty to further prove this I tested the camara by holding l and r triggers what also gave me an error then frooze the xl ?!?.

I then removed the top casing were the camara is and couldn't see anything wrong I figured as I was there I would try and push the 3d slider with a spudger to turn of the 3d it worked but doesn't 'click' to off its just at the lowest setting?,so I put the case back and powered on the 3ds and voila my volume was back up ?!?! I though wtf and tested my theory ,if I pushed the volume slider up to full 3d I loose the volume to the lowest level
If I push the 3d slider to minimum 3d I get what I pressum is my loadest volume setting
?!?!?!
What is going on does anyone know what can cause this and how it can be fixed ?!?! Many thanks

P.s I'm not afraid of taking apart the xl

Take a few pictures of your board, you might have put the 3D Slider controls wrong.

exactly, that doesn't make sense there's legit nothing in the software to make one slider affect another setting

I mean, they ARE on the same register.... but I also doubt that has anything to do with it

I agree. Also, just wondering, didn't you develop an edition of arm9loaderhax? The first with screen_init, I believe.

I've ran into this problem a few weeks ago, but have not taken apart my 3DS at all. I just left it sitting on my nightstand. Turn the 3D Slider Up and volume goes up. It's so weird.

After a formating your 3ds you need to use your slider to activate 3d and use your console, without activating 3d you wont be able to use your 3ds . I thought everyone would understand the joke
