Do not update if you have a flashed drive/xkey

Microsoft just released a new dash update for the 360.
16747 is the new version number.
As of now, it's still unknown what has changed.
So for ODDE users and people with flashed drives, I urge you not to update until there's more known about what has changed.
People with JTAG/RGH/R-JTAG machines, expect a new Dashlaunch + XeBuild coming in the next week or so.

Source: meself + a mate of mine + Wikipedia for the Kernel/Dash revision.

Edit:
it seems that the update has no change what so ever when it comes to piracy.
You can update your boxes but don't blame me if anything happens to it.

You can now watch an xb video rental on one xb 360 stop it and continue watching on another as long as you log in with the same account. Everything else about the update was system stability stuff.

Major Nelson would never reveal any security updates.
The only thing he's allowed to announce is visual stuff for end users.
Not system related things that hackers could take advantage of or anti piracy measures ;]

His words were back-end stuff and twiques. Tomato Tomato my friend.

Those tweaks can contain enough anti piracy measures that hide themselves, waiting to get activated when triggered by an Xkey or arbitrary DVD firmware code.

Bottom line is, for the legit users there's no difference, For the people with hacked machines, there could be detection code waitig.
