i've just seen this video on youtube



it seems simple enough so i might try it tomorrow, btw ptf themes will no longer work with 3.80 m33 right? or is it just complete custom themes that don't work?

edit: where can i get the offical 3.80 firmware update from?

another edit: there is now a released easy installer for 3.80 m33 located here

The PSP v4.00 firmware coming out with DIVX soon (3 months time) hope m33 team working on that...

AFAIK you can't work on something that doesn't exist. Unless 4.00 is already out in Japan or something, I don't think they can work on it.

Semi off topic: eLoader is awesome. Duke Nukem PSP (1.5 homebrew with the %folder thing) is great on a slim.

i'm going to stay on 3.71 m33-3 for a while as there has already been people who have attempted to install 3.80 m33 custom firmware and instead installed official firmware, i don't want to make the same mistake as there is no pandora fix for this m33 version for now anyway.

there really needs to be a simple guide posted or something thats easy to follow as the readme is kinda brief.

i used pandora on a slim psp with 3.80 official to install 3.71m33

also the network update is cool updated to m33-2 with it

also i think is no need for easy installer for this as it doesnt get as easy as this. I mean if u cant follow the read me then u shouldnt deserve to have a psp

can anyone help me out, when i try to update it says "verifying update... incorrect file" and it then restarts my psp, i used the easy installer but i seem to still be having problems

Solution: don't use the easy installer.

i am on version 3.71 m33-3, i am downloading the eboot.pbp file from psp slim hacks, as soon as it downloads i rename it to 380.pbp and drag that file to the UPDATE folder with the other update files are located the eboot.pbp and the u235.prx, i exit usb mode, go to game launch the 3.80 m33 update, it loads to a black screen and says "verifying update... incorrect file" and then resets my psp, i redownloaded the update file like 4 times now and i get the same error message.
