Hi everyone,

As many ppl, I have a 3.60 Henkaku Vita,

Few days ago, I have upgraded my PSTV from 3.65 to 3.68 and yeahhhhhhhhh

Everything is fine =D

So what are the advantage of 3.60 while 3.68 is also nice ? I mean, we don't have cold boot, but H-Encore is fast to launch,

We have adrenaline, so PSP PSX + Backup, homebrews seems fine also so ... why no upgrade ?

3.68 isn't the best firmware, 3.65 is. It has coldboot, TLS 1.2, all games, and can still access PSN. The only difference between 3.65 and 3.68 now is 3.65 has coldboot, but that's still something that's nice to have.

I forgot TLS ... I didn't use my vita for web surfing so it is not an issue for me.

The only difference seems to be coldboot

It really boggles down on how much you know about plugins. 3.65 has the advantage b/c with the "LetMaiDie" ability to play 3.68 games without the need to update your fw it has made 3.65 the ultimate cfw since it still has coldboot intact

How do I get TLS 1.2 on my 3.65? I updated to 3.65 using thefl0w's method when 3.60 was still the only hackable. I assume I don't have TLS 1.2 because GitHub won't load on my vuta

i wonder that maybe some game's patch and dlc need fw3.68.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

i suggest you can update vita from 3.60 to 3.65henkaku enso via 365updater which made by theflow

They do, but we have Repatch and compatibility packs so they can be used on 3.60/5.

That's the outdated method, currently you just update to 3.65 and install h-encore as though it was a fresh install.

i think the 365updater is better than 365h-encore+enso because 365updater can't be deleted after initial restore system in vita.

I am still on 3.65 and wanted to access the PSN today, but my Vita wants me to update to the latest firmware. Also setting the primary DNS to 212.47.229.76 doesn‘t work.

I have an unmodified system.
There's your issue. You need to use QCMA to transfer h-encore over and run it, then it will automatically spoof your firmware as 3.68 and let you go online. Since QCMA is unofficial, you can configure the latest firmware to be 3.65 and it won't ask your Vita to update.
