Hacking 2ds HELP

Hi guys so I bought a 2ds today so my problem is I installed rxtools everything fine and all but sysnand and emunand are linked so I tried formatting the system settings in sysnand and I did it but I installed the mset stuff that downgrades your system settings of your 2ds to a systemsettings of a 3ds in 4x so now I am in system settings on my 2ds but am locked on the 3ds startup menu and I cant do anything any tips of what should I do. the reason I cant do anything is I need to turn the 3d on to continue and I cant because its a freaking 2ds thanks

I have been reading a lot about this issue and the warning posted by members in several topics here, although I don't own a 2DS to begin with...
You should have read before making any sysNAND changes, and if not sure you should have at least asked in forum...

Getting to the point, there is a 6.x mset for 2DS that needs to be written instead of 4.x mset (which you unfortunately written).
I suppose you have the backup of sysNAND before you proceed to this (the mset downgrade part), so the only solution at the moment is to do hard mod and flash the sysNAND bin file back to 2DS to recover it.

OffTopic: If there is a solder pad left on the 2DS board somewhere that switches on and off physical 3D... that could save the hassle...

That's why there's plenty of warnings not to format a 2DS if you downgrade Mset to 4.x

Only thing you can do now is use a hardmod to to restore a backup of the NAND (if you did one beforehand).
Not sure if anything else can be done. That's called a softbrick.

They'll update your console though. So if you can, just exchange it.

Force update it might unbrick it but will be on newest firmware.

Nope, ain't gonna happen. They even said in the user agreement that they don't take any responsibility for any mods you do to your system. They won't fix it, it's modded. Nothing you can do.

But wouldn't it assume the system is a 3ds since it's been tricked to be a 3ds and not a 2ds? Or is there some hardware wizardry that changes it back to a 2ds?

Have you got the receipt. Take it back and show them in the shop it's faulty and they should replace it.

Just put everything back in the box again, take it to them and show them what happens when you turn it on. Most workers might not even know the reason why it would be like that. Ask them to replace for a new one. You just bought it anyway.

you need to re-inject your NAND in your SYSNAND (it is quite hard in 2DS since you will need to have a specific mmc/sd reader)
4.X MSET is not safe for 2DS
please, use 6.X MSET instead

Ouch, you bought it just today and messed up. That sucks man, hopefully you find a solution to fix.
I always read twice before doing anything, I also ask here and follow tutorials. Good luck
