2ds bricked?

Hey there, my 2ds suddenly turned off while gaming and no longer boots up, here's what i tried:
- at first the blue led turned on with the usual popping sound as the display was broken: i replaced the lcd but the popping sound was still there.
- I removed the SD the popping sound was no longer present and the blue led blinked for 1s, not booting the console.
- I tried to replace the boot.firm on the sd with a new one without success, but this time the popping sound was no longer present whether the sd was present or not
- I tried start+select+x to check b9s status: with the sd inserted the notification light is green, without it is red.

Any clues on how this could be solved without replacing the mobo?

unfortunately the cartridge slot is not working , are there any other methods to recover it?
