Actually... I can deny that the ammount of new content in every game is large - it's not. The forumla is dated, some of the features are added into it just out of plain boredom of the dev's (IV's, EV's for one), I could go on.

I don't "hate" Pokemon. I just have a distinct feeling of "meh, I already played this" each time I turn on a "new" Pokemon game.

I won't play another for longer than an hour unless it brings groundbreaking changes. Otherwise it's just another boring sequel.

My wish list for the Pokemon franchise: A third game alongside B/W, use more real-life locations like they tried in all the other games(Unova is loosely based off of America+4 regions before were all major areas of Japan), do a region that uses Chinese regions, and maybe do something with the battle system some more. All they really did in B/W was put a moving camera in as well as introduced Triple and Rotation Battles.

About the regions thing: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok..._the_real_world

Some of the list's incomplete so if someone can fill it in, it'd help. I would but school's keeping me too busy these days.

i never know that there was a pokemon green

Yeah, it was only released in Japan. That's why one of the gba remakes of the Kanto region was called Pokemon LeafGreen.

so only pkm blue, red and yellow came out in europe?
Yes, and only Red, Green and Yellow were released in Japan.

I don't see Pokemon ending any time soon, it's still fun and addicting, and it gets a ton of sales. I doubt they're going to stop soon.

If you haven't noticed, you're playing THE SAME OLD GAME over and over again, periodically getting a slight facelift or new Pokemon.

(If you didn't understand, it can be translated by "We don't care, because if we did we wouldn't buy the games anymore.")

Slight facelift?

I don't understand why Nintendo's not doing anything with the cries of older Pokémon. They could remaster them, remake them, or use the ones from Pokémon Stadium on the N64. Anything's better than hearing 4-bit sound effects in the same game as they don't fit very well with the newer cries (well, unless they plan to downgrade the newer cries to 4-bit, but that really wouldn't make any sense).

I don't care if it's the same game. I've been playing the SNES games since literally before I can remember and it never gets old.
There were no Pokémon games on the SNES. Unless you were talking about this piece of junk.

EDIT: That piece of crap really is something. It's a pirate game, and that opening you see in the link above, believe it or not, is a form of AP protection. Here's an actual gameplay video.

I meant SNES games in general. I don't know why I said "the" SNES games.

This!

And I think Pokémon (games, not series) will live as long as Gamefreak keep releasing them. And Pokémon is a strong merchandising product from Nintendo, so it won`t die

Fix'd your slight miscalculation.

Honest opinion? I'm all for keeping franchises alive, but please, don't force-milk them. Take some time before releasing a new game, Gamefreak. Release a game that FOR ONCE has decent upgrades, not just cosmetic ones.

HOLY CRAP! I didn't relies the amount of Pokemon games out there...
