Pliskron said:Sorry but this card has some pretty long standing issues that team AK refuse to address like contact issues, gba 3in1 support problems and so on but they'd rather collect money, sub out firmware development to a group of fifteen year old kids. In short the only thing Team AK does is sell cards and I'm supposed to think that a Christmas box is cool? I'll tell you something there's a lot of R4's with more lively support but if I point that out and how non newsworthy a Christmas box is I'm going to be reported as a troll? Ok buddy go for it.Rydian said:Okay, you've gotta' be trolling, because I don't even KNOW how many times I've pointed out to you (yes you, specifically!) that if they updated the official firmware it'd be a waste of time/energy since AKAIO is taking care of it. A common phrase in the hacking community is "don't reinvent the wheel". Why update the old firmware when the new one has all the updates? AKAIO's not just game updates, it gets new features every so often (check akaio.net to read/make suggestions), if you'd check the changelogs.Pliskron said:Wow wee that's snazzy. They have time to put out a Christmas box but how long has it been since they've done anything with their card or official firmware.
As for the official team being dead... they released the 1.4.1 fix within a day (as ShadowSoldier pointed out). Hard for a dead team that never does anything to do that.![]()
This is the last time I tell you this before I write this specific subject of yours off as trolling (and simply report it in the future as you must be posting it just to fuck with people).

I own, like and use my AK2i as my main flashcart.ShadowSoldier said:Pliskron said:Sorry but this card has some pretty long standing issues that team AK refuse to address like contact issues, gba 3in1 support problems and so on but they'd rather collect money, sub out firmware development to a group of fifteen year old kids. Just admit it, you pretty much hate every single card except for the one you own.

That's kind of a stupid thing to say because I own this card and I think it's good but I also think that how good the card is has nothing to do with the Acekard team and I wish they'd fix issues like bricking with some 256mb games. I'm just saying that if they lifted their finger to fix some of their outstanding issues I'd be a lot more impressed than if they spent their time designing a red box with santa on the cover.ShadowSoldier said:Pliskron said:Sorry but this card has some pretty long standing issues that team AK refuse to address like contact issues, gba 3in1 support problems and so on but they'd rather collect money, sub out firmware development to a group of fifteen year old kids. still you make my point for me Team Acekard sat on their thumbs and didn't do anything about the problem. I guess they're far to busy pimping the latest box design. I've actually talked to those guys about some issues and the response I got was oh yeah we're working on it it'll be done soon. Needless to say that never happened and that was before Akaio was even a idea. So as a team I'd rate Acekard right at the bottom. They're just lucky someone skilled pick up development or they would be gone the way of DS Extreme.Etalon said:Pliskron said:That's kind of a stupid thing to say because I own this card and I think it's good but I also think that how good the card is has nothing to do with the Acekard team and I wish they'd fix issues like bricking with some 256mb games.
Oh well. It gets boring now.
It was 512 MB games.
And only if you'd have a mSD formatted with Windows XP (not: Panasonic).
It's fixed since Akaio 1.8.
Boring.
Really boring. Nothing understood.![]()

Me: It causes contact issues.ShadowSoldier said:Not to mention, if the cart is thin, so what? What would you possibly be doing to warrant you using enough force to break it?
