    This is pretty crazy stuff..

I wouldn't watch it though. Seems like it'd damage the eye. It costs about $1000. Damn technology.

If they could find a way to reduce or remove the element of eyestrain, this could and should become a prominent part of virtual reality research moving forward.

    On my computer, where else?
I would only use it for if i was going on a really long trip, but anyways technology is growing fast.

I'd rather buy a 52" flat screen for that price. I thought she was going to get hit by a car

I'm guessing it looks clearer when you actually use it because the screen looked pretty dark when the camera shot it.

Anyways, at the moment it's just another steppingstone.

I dont see whats so special about this to be honest. Ive had a pair of TV glasses for years, I used to plug them into a portable dvd player and my xbox and stuff. They give the impression of watching a 50" screen, and only cost about $300 three or four years ago. I dont see how they can justify this sort of price for this thing.

This is the kind of thing Im talking about. https://www.zetronix.com/index.php?cPath=26

Just another reason for people not to talk to each other when they are out and about. Wow, really smart. Go society!

its called a heads up display. they are really for use in wearable computing. it doesn't cause eye strain as they use optical lenses to make it seem further away so your eyes focus far away as normal.
