Yay, Doom 2 on GBA for Europe. Doom 3's not far away now. It's gone gold and is supposed to be out next month with a demo following afterwards. Should be interesting

I just hope it doesn't freeze and crash all the time like Painkiller did on my Radeon...

This game's been out for years! Don't mean to sound cheeky but how come it took so long? Is it a case of who needs it? After all, the USA version has been around for yonks!

me too... or better said... nobody needs them on the gba..
i man... if u have to play FPS games .. get a cool fast machine or even a fast console...
but for me the best on this game is to check the secret areas for example...
i mean... every machine is able to display DOOM2

Not so much of a fan of 3D on the GBA myself. Impressive technically, and gives the developers a few inches on their collective developing penis for pushing the machine to it's limits, but it still doesn't make for a very enjoyable play experience. Grab one of the updated PC ports of Doom II with all the nifty features that let you use the original WAD files. Now THAT is Doom perfection.

In my opinion, both Doom games were excellent on GBA, if you're in a car and need your daily fps fix, either Doom game will suffice :-P

In terms of playing it on the computer... nothing beats the PC version... but then again, GBA wasn't made to compete with a PC in any manner whatsoever.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
