Hacking 11.6 Homebrew An exception occurred

Every time I open homebrew I get an exception has occurred. Im on 11.6 with the latest version of Luma. Any help?

This happens over my Homebrew.cia and if I put homebrew over download play

Try clicking this link to download the Homebrew Launcher starter pack, and then extract the boot.3dsx in starter.zip to the root of your SD card. If it asks to replace files, click replace. Then, try booting Homebrew Launcher.

That is fixed but I get the same thing when I try and run GYTB

Use the CIA, IIRC the .3dsx version of GYTB still uses *hax payloads* it's never going to work with newer versions of Homebrew.

The CIA of GYTB or the CIA of HomeBrew? I use GYTB on my 2DS XL on 11.8 as a CIA and it works just fine. Your previous posts imply you're loading GYTB through the Homebrew CIA.

If you're already using the standalone CIA, all I can say is reinstall it through FBI.

No worries there. But yeah, I would uninstall it, use tiksweep, clear the cache, then reinstall it. How many badges do you have in the folder on your SD card? If you're getting this error:

"An exception occured

Processor: ARM11 (core 0)
Exception type: data abort
Current process: GYTB (00040000001DDB00)"

Then it's because you're trying to load too many at once.

Ok then you more than likely have too many badges in your folder. Remove all but 15 of them and run it again.

And they're in a folder called "badges" on your SD card? Well I'm at a loss man. Sorry, I tried everything I could think of to help out. If I have another idea I'll let you know.

make sure there is no preview file in the badges
