So you are in the 9.2? Use browserhax

funny thing is i tried that and it sent me to Downloadplay or whatever for some reason.

Edit: how am i the one running into all the problems, and i basically followed the guide 100%

Edit 2: cant i go back to my original 3DS and change the dsi downgraded 3DS thing by OOT hax installer?

No you cant, downgrade is patched, you need the dsi downgrade but if you successfully downgrade dsi you can run oothax without problems.

actually, i went to OOTHaxinstaller changed it the payload to 9.2.0U, put it in my downgraded 3DS and it worked im in homebrew now

if i was to use the 2.1.0-4 U, that was downloaded for my non-downgraded to make it access homebrew, would it mess anything up if i was to use it for the dsiware downgraded 3DS?

i just compared the file sizes and they both match, if i would have to download the other one it would take awhile.
plus the download manager i have says it's the same.
Edit: yeah it's the same file and guide i used last time.

Dumb question, sorry, but it must be asked. Is it safe to update to the latest firmware if your system is already on Luma3DS/Arm9LoaderHax? I don't want to rely on CTT-PWN to access online services.

another question i had to restore the nand because system update was failing,once its restored do i go directly back to system update?

yes you can update provided you install latest "stable" build of Luma or as what reported that a fix has already been uploaded then update to latest "nightly/hourly" build in Luma Updater then proceed to update your system firmware in settings.. im running O3DS, 2X N3DS on Luma+a9LH sys11.2 and everything works fine..

Yep. Userland only noobs could mistakenly update to 11.2 thinking since their entrypoint is ok, then there's nothing to lose. That's understandable, especially with smea recently tweeting to his 34K followers, "ninjhax is ok on 11.2, go ahead and update". He actually said that lol.

does not imply anything about anything other than ninjhax. so what's the problem exactly? am I not supposed to let people know that ninjhax works fine on latest firmware?

Alright i'm a little lost here;
A few days ago I finally got my new N3DS in, did all the stuff and now it's comfy on 11.2
But my problem is that I have to send it in for repair because the bottom screen is failing already (probably a loose connection at the ribbon), obviously i'll remove A9LH before doing that.

But if I were to do that at this moment, do I read it right and should I skip section 3 and 4 at this moment, because it's stating "For now, this exploit will only work for versions below 11.2.0!" at 3 and "This section is only required if 3DS #2 is under 11.2.0." at 4 and go straight to 5 (after 1 and 2) if I were to do so?

well i got everything working so the dsiware downgrade does work for this. i would like to say thanks all.
should be done here, unless someone wants to point me towards an System Update blocker.
