Also: Does anyone know if the wii can handle transparent backgrounds for the logo, and is there a reason my graphics are maimed by WADder? I hate that they show up with horrible compression.

I tried it and no brick.

Your friend doesn't have a Cube controller? But if it does get bricked, it's not my fault.

Yeah, I think savemiifree should work, although I haven't tried it yet (because I haven't been bricked yet). I guess you like try to press down on all four sides of the D pad or something. If he does get bricked, ask someone else about savemiifree because I don't really know much about it.

I think icefire's wadder does such good work that it really does stop banner bricks - not even one so far which is a good sign with so many using it

@Asthepenguinflies - the wadder resizes the images you make to the sizes that wont banner brick your wii - its a bit of a trade off in quality to have an image thats safe.... youd agree if you ever got a banner brick

NO you dont need to patch ISO's before burning them - some games need the ISO it runs on changed , but thats only a few (and posted on a different thread) but for the general run of games nothing needs to be changed. Just 'backup' and burn

That doesnt make much sense in english but if you mean do you need to remove the old one - then no

Nope - they should work now as the fix is built into the channels - except the one in red that i have marked - for some reason the press 1 version seems to still have the error - just go for the autoload no force one and it should work fine.
