    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

I'm really strapped for cash at the moment but in a few months I would definitely be able to contribute.

I am also wondering about this. Been searching but I can't find anything.

How long of a boot time are we looking at using this?

Hacking Injecting into Wii VC on Wii U

From what I read somewhere on the internet a while back, RE4 has a strange way of detecting the CCP, and Nintendo simply didn't bother to fix it for the VC release. I found a decent list of games that support the gamepad here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1180109 Donkey Kong...

Mednafen PSX core and the proper BIOS files. I tried out Tekken 3 and it loads, but it's very slow.

    Hacking question about cfw

    1) If you're using redNAND, then it should be noted that updating either the sysNAND or redNAND will BRICK the redNAND. I only know this because multiple people have mentioned it. Just use the dns settings until someone finds a way to prevent updates a different way. 2) It isn't like the 3ds or...

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

I read earlier in the thread that FBA2012 runs the higher-memory NEOGEO games, but I can't seem to get any of them to run. Is there anything in particular I should be doing?

Homebrew Official WupInstaller y Mod - with multiple install folders

Ah, just checked it out. Haxchi is superior at the moment, but I imagine this will be very useful for end-users once booting into a sig-patched sysNAND becomes feasible.

Homebrew Official WupInstaller y Mod - with multiple install folders

What exactly does that mean? I haven't had any issues running wupinstaller from my home menu launcher.

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

I thought I could die happy when I got my Wii to play ps1 and neogeo games (not on retroarch). Retroarch has completely surpassed my expectations and never ceases to please me.

Hacking [Release] Haxchi Installer 1.2 (Noob friendly)

First I've heard of that. I hear it won't be a launch title for the Switch (bad mistake Nintendo), but haven't heard anything about it being pushed back to November. At that point it would make no sense for them to release it on the Wii U, since they've already abandoned it.

I did it on my NA Wii U, so yes.

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

I just want to pop in and confirm that the FBA2012 .rpx works for me using the Haxchi method. Tested with some various games and no troubles found.

Hacking Successful coldboothax installation, ps don't try yourself.

I'm a little concerned about this. I definitely have it on the USB, but really don't want to mess with it. Has anyone successfully moved it and then tried this?

Hacking So I finally got an external HDD. Before I get started, I just want to know one thing...

My concern is that once I finally get everything set up for my drive, it'll finally be possible and I'll have to start the whole process all over again. Not complaining, just unsure if I should wait or just go ahead.

Hacking So I finally got an external HDD. Before I get started, I just want to know one thing...

I know that the Wii U, when it formats the HDD, will use the entire drive no matter what. My question is whether or not we will never see partitioned HDD's in the future, or is it simply a pipe dream?

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

Quick question: Is it possible to use an External HDD with Retroarch on the Wii U? I know it's a dumb question, but I just don't see a lot of USB homebrew support on the Wii U.

Hacking Wiiu and vWii on same hdd

So what you're saying is there's hope for this in the future? Every time I've seen this question asked it seems to be a definitive "No, it's not possible". I've been holding off getting an external until partitioning becomes feasible.

Hacking Wii U USB loading - install WiiU games to USB or internal memory

I see, so a second harddrive will be needed for a fully exploited Wii U, at least for now. Thanks for the quick response.
