Hacking DIOS MIOS! GC ISO Loader proof of concept (Starfox Assault)

This is exactly how I feel too. I can already play any gamecube game I want, but having them stored on a hard drive would be a convenience. If this does get publicly released, then great. If not, then so what? If he wants to make it private between him and a few people then that is his choice...

Hacking looking to pay for a small project

Necessary? No. However, it is morally the right thing to do. If I used someone's code, no matter how little, I would credit them for it.

Hacking you will never have more than 500 wii games

Maybe try deleting some of the games you don't play? I seriously can't believe you are actively playing 500 games. Especially considering how bad most games are on the Wii.

Homebrew Can I make emulators autoboot ROMs?

That is actually something I started doing awhile ago. Got as far as getting Wiiflow to scan a directory for roms, and add them to the games list. I even had it launching a dol file with the rom filename as an argument. Never got around to adding different sections though, and never altered the...

Homebrew Can I make emulators autoboot ROMs?

You would need to edit the code for the emulators, remove the menu and make it load the specific rom you want to load. Best way would be to implement the rom to load as an argument, this would only require one copy of the emulator.

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

What makes you think that? Its basically just an image that shows what games you have. Useful for forum signatures and such. What ozl is suggesting is having Wiiflow update the games you have to the NCard system automatically, so manual updating is no longer required

Hacking Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands - New anti-piracy?

While in some countries it is allowed to make a backup of a game you own, it is actually illegal to circumvent any copyright protection.

Hacking Would it be possible to create a Games on Demand service?

Sure, it would be possible. However, anyone setting up the server would be contacted by Nintendo fairly quickly to have it shut down.

Homebrew PSX and DS emulator problems.

Probably because the emulator is still in the early stages of development?

Hacking Monster Hunter Tri - Converting Savegame Pal>NTSC - How?

Yep, myself and a friend did it. Had no problems with it. Not saying there is no risk at all, but its most likely minimal. Probably far more likely to get banned from using a European IP on the US servers.

Hacking Monster Hunter Tri - Converting Savegame Pal>NTSC - How?

I have yet to be banned using that method and I have played online quite a few times. I don't really see why it should result in a ban if you have a legit copy of the game.

Gaming Monster Hunter US Save to Pal ?

Extract the save from the nand with a save game manager. Then rename the directory from 00010000524d4845 to 00010000524d4850 Then import it back to your Wiis nand. And yes, I have done this successfully.

    Homebrew SNES Emulator problem.

All Wii homebrew applications go in the Apps folder. The Homebrew Channel scans the Apps directory to generate the list of Applications, it will not see any applications on the root of the SD card. I don't see why this would prevent you adding roms though.

Hardware Does Monster Hunter Tri have copy protection / rip protection?

PAL version is working here using Hermes v4 38+37 merged.

Hacking what is sneek and why do i need it?

If you don't know what it is, then you are probably best not trying to use it right now. From what I can tell, it is still in the very early development stages, and not intended for most people to use right now. But anyway, it is a way of running the Wii system menu, and the rest of the nand...

Hacking THE END OF HOMEBREW :-( IN THE UK

And what if everyone thought the same way so they get no money at all? And what about the smaller companies releasing content? I really do not believe that people should be able to download the content for free, but I do think that the cost of music, and games are far too high currently. Of...

    Hardware Wiimote chargers recommendations

I personally use the Exspect Drop 'N' Charge simply because you don't have to remove the silicone case (or motion plus) to charge it. It does charge up through USB, but you get an adapter to plug it into the main power supply too. I have no idea where to get this outside of the UK however.

Homebrew Wiiware, VC and Homebrew Forwarder ISO's

The easiest solution is to just pass the required arguments to Triiforce. Over the weekend I will post some sample code that will allow you to do just that. Then, whenever Triiforce is updated, you won't need to replace loads of dol files.

Homebrew Wiiware, VC and Homebrew Forwarder ISO's

Why not edit the Triiforce app you are using to get the titleID from an argument, then you only need to have one copy of the dol file.
