Gaming Why can't my PAL Virtual Console games display on an HDTV?

I have a PAL Wii. I recently bought a Samsung LCD HDTV. Now that I am using this TV, my Virtual Console games no longer display. The two games I have are Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. When I boot them up, the TV says "Mode Not Supported". There is no sound or video.

I've found some information on a possible fix, but in order to do the fix you need to access the Home menu. When I press the Home button, nothing happens.

I'd really like to be able to play VC games again. Thanks.

I've got a similair problem like this with my Xbox360.
When I want to watch a video, my TV says 'Signal not found'.

You likely have an NTSC TV. Signals are different.

well I thought NTSC didn't matter for component. PAL games work fine, in color, 480p, everything. Just VC games.
