The time period of an antivirus (as in how long it lasts) begins after you register the first PC, correct? Not when you bought it at the store?

Just makin' sure.

Yes it should work like that. I know for sure that this is the case for kaspersky. As soon as you *use* the serial number, the time starts.

It should begin countdown after registering. Box with AntiVir can be at store like for many months. You can buy it today or two weeks later but you still bought same time-limited license.

Yes, and if you have a multi-PC license each time starts when you use each serial number/each time you use the serial number.
