    Seems like increasing my page file size on Windows solved the DLSS crashes on Monster Hunter Wilds. Did a full hunt with no issues, so I'm hopeful at least.

    Wilds beta constantly crashing if I have DLSS enabled... Gonna be rough locking myself to 30fps at launch if they don't get that one fixed.

    The benchmark glitched her clothes off in the first run because of the texture stretching... ain't never seen this shit before lmaoooo (pics because I don't have a good screenshot utility yet that works well with fullscreen games)

    Per the reports on ProtonDB though I'm not the only person running an RTX 20 or 30 series and seeing these exact issues on Linux. So at least it's not something unique to me.

    Hot damn the Mario + Rabbids games are only like £16 each. Never got around to trying the second game but hey that's an excuse to pick it up at least.

    Just beat Final Fantasy 7 Remake... It was good, but like, not enough? Feels like the entire game was like five plot points. In the context of it being Part 1/3 it's fine, but knowing I'd have to wait years for the next part would leave me feeling incredibly unfulfilled.

    I'll play Rebirth when it comes to PC in a few weeks, but honestly if anybody on here hasn't played Remake yet, I'd really say to wait for all three parts to drop. Seems the best way to approach these.

    To the two suggestions above, I dunno... HGSS scale horribly and need a lot more grinding to just get to the end of the game. FRLG just feel horridly slow, and Kanto as a region is just drab in my mind. They're both good, but they both just fall slightly short for me.

    Would there be any interest in a review of the M4 Mac Mini? Would have to buy it out of pocket so really just seeing if it's something people would be interested in before putting the cash down.

    Maybe a gaming-focused review could be interesting, like what kinds of games can it be coerced to play/emulate and is it a good purchase compared to a similarly priced Windows mini PC

    Something I'm personally interested in is how cross-system apps perform. I already have Disgaea 1/4, Divinity 2, and a few others that should be compatible with the M4. Baldur's Gate 3 apparently supports MacOS too, so I could have a decent swath of compatible games already. Assuming Steam is fine running games from an external SSD on MacOS... That 256GB internal SSD isn't going to cut it for much lol

    External SSD for Steam should be fine as long as its a filesystem that macOS can recognise (I don't remember which ones those are off the top of my head)

    You could get a deal on an oldish mini pc with like ~12th gen intel or ryzen ~6000 series but the mac mini would still be smaller and have more raw compute with less power consumption

    The older Windows ones do win out on storage and RAM too in fairness (particularly in both being upgradeable if you do cheap out in the first place) but man if you have an external SSD lying around the 256GB of the Mac Mini (while still definitely bad) is tolerable.

    If you really want to, I think you could reach a tad bit wider audience if you also try out the Apple Pencil on it (if you have one), if it feels different to use on this than from others (if you have the others).

    I do have the pencil, but I’m pretty sure everything is the same outside of the internals. I think the pen on screen feel really varies by the screen protector you stick on more than anything.

    chairs with a metal frame might look nice, and they might be sturdy, but holy CRAP when I accidentally knee it at full force I would definitely prefer something plastic

    I think I found the issue.
    The issue is that you're using the Aoi Edition and not the Shizuku Edition!
