Just rolled out a new modmii patch for 6.6.3 so that the nusfilegrabber.exe workaround is no longer necessary, thanks goes out to @TheShadowEeveeThanks, until I push an update, try this
This issue is unrelated to ModMii but.. Do you have all the CIOS's installed? post a syscheck.I followed all step of modmii wizard + guide. I use usb loader gx. It use ios 249 as default. But when I try to lauch monster hunter tri from usb hard drive, the game crash when i click begin game. Can someone help me ?
BTW, i'm getting this weird behavior of selecting any d2x version I want, but it does not change after some opening/closing of the app. Right now it's stuck in beta53 and doesn't accept me changing it.
What happens if you enter "D" to use the default version of d2x that came bundled with ModMii, it still doesn't change?
Is it possible you are accessing the files ModMii is trying to delete, thus preventing ModMii from deleting them? Inside ModMii's support folder will be a d2x-beta folder (this folder only exists when NOT using the default version of d2x that is bundled with ModMii). When ModMii changes the version of d2x beta it constructs, it updates what's in this d2x-beta folder, or deletes the folder entirely if restoring the default version of d2x.
Hello XFlak. Coming from this old error. I'm still stuck on v10-beta52, nothing allows me to change it.Used D for default, didn't change. Tried deleting the folder entirely again (which I did before the first wipe) and download one by one again, nothing. It's set to v10-beta52 and won't change. There was something I just noticed: it gives me a message which will stay only for microseconds, so I can't even try to read it or screenshot it. Any chance for a pause interaction there in the future?
I see the issue now, although I may have messed up the tags and releases order on the d2x github, I will have to try and fix that later.Hello XFlak. Coming from this old error. I'm still stuck on v10-beta52, nothing allows me to change it.
Tried changing it from inside Options, nothing. Also tried from Download Page 4, nothing. It's always d2x-v10-beta52.
So far the only "fix" is starting a ModMii folder and download everything from scratch. Works for changing it one time only.
If you need a particular file from my ModMii folder to check, let me know.
Alternatively, I could try forcing it by writing another value into any kind of settings file, if you give me some pointers.
I'll give a try, thanks for the tip.I see the issue now, although I may have messed up the tags and releases order on the d2x github, I will have to try and fix that later.
For now, you can manually solve the issue with 6.6.3 by changing:
support\sfk filter -spat "temp\list.txt" ++"/davebaol/d2x-cios/releases/download/" ++".7z" -!"vwii" -!"uwii" -rep _*"download/"__ -rep _".7z*"__ -rep _"*files/"__ -rep _\x2528_\x28_ -rep _\x2529_\x29_ -rep _\x2520_\x20_ -rep _\x253B_\x3B_ -rep _\x252C_\x2C_ -write -yes>nul
to:
support\sfk filter -spat "temp\list.txt" ++"/davebaol/d2x-cios/releases/tag/" -!"vwii" -!"uwii" -rep _*"tag/"__ -rep _"\x22*"__ -write -yes>nul
and also change:
start %ModMiimin%/wait support\wget --output-document %CurrentcIOS%.zip --no-check-certificate -t 3 "https://github.com/davebaol/d2x-cios/releases/download/%DLcIOS%.7z"
to:
start /min /wait support\wget --output-document %CurrentcIOS%.zip --no-check-certificate -t 3 "https://github.com/davebaol/d2x-cios/releases/download/%DLcIOS%/%DLcIOS%.7z"
Unfortunately only the first page of releases here are listed in ModMii, I don't have time to investigate further right now but will try to eventually
in the meantime, if you extract the contents of a release into ModMii's Support folder it will get picked up
e.g. Support\More-cIOSs\d2x-v1-final\ciosmaps.xml, d2x-beta.bat, etc.
