EZ-Flash Jr Pokemon Crystal Resets

I did some searching on the forum for anyone who may have this same issue I'm having, but I haven't found anything, so I'm posting this thread.

I got my EZ-Flash Jr loaded up with some ROMs, which includes Pokemon Crystal. Almost every time I try using the Pokemon Center in the game, I'll usually get maybe two lines of dialogue in and it'll just restart the game. As far as I know, this is the only game that does this. I've tried replicating this on the Crystal Clear ROM hack and it never triggers. I used to save the game before using the Pokemon Center, but I prefer to use it and then save. It's mostly annoying than game-breaking, but I would like to see if I can find a fix.

I play this on a GameCube with the Gameboy Player, using the homebrew Gameboy Interface by Extrems as I don't have any other systems to play this on.

Keep Swiss and GBI updated to their latest, and try playing the game on a phone or other emulator to see if the issue persists there too. I'm thinking it's either a ROM issue, or a power-draw issue from the cart.

GBI is at the latest version, as far as I'm aware. There might be a new version that I haven't gotten yet, but I'll make sure I do. Also, I've played the rom on at least two different emulators on my desktop without any issues.

edit: Almost forgot to say, I don't use Swiss, so I won't bother with that.

Okay, so I did some more testing. I downloaded a different version of the ROM since I have the revision 1 copy of the ROM and so far, I haven't had it reset itself on me when using the Pokemon Center. Maybe the flash card has an issue with the revision copy of the game?

I know it's been a while since I last did an update on my thread, but I just did more testing and I'm having the random resetting happening on the 1.0 version of the ROM as well. It just happened to me a few minutes ago.
