Alright, after a long fight and tests, I can update: all games work, I run games using the latest wiiflow real nand plugin and you can play even with codes such as N64 and others.
You only need to select the nand real plugin in wiiflow every time because you do not want to set it permanently but this is not a problem, it is important that everything works.
ps. has someone managed to set some settings for virtual console games in Wiiflow, ie: A game such as Paper Mario - settings and, for example, changing the display to ntsc or pal 50/60 etc. because I do not see any difference in Paper Mario and others after changing the settings every time you start the game the image is the same as on the standard settings?

It has been pointed out to me that there is a issue with video modes for nand games. I have a Fix and will release soon.

I have a couple more old betas for you to try.

https://www.mediafire.com/file/i8rbqnma6urgbgn/wiiflow_v5.5.0_beta_1.zip/file

https://www.mediafire.com/file/gjaad1fu8hhkb0i/wiiflow_v5.5.0_beta_3.zip/file

make sure to backup current wiiflow and clean install these before trying.
Beta 1 worked flawlessly with default settings.
249
Port 0
I loaded multiple Wii and GC games with no issues. I tested NTSC and JAP games for GC and Wii. I have a NTSC WiiU.

I set Channel Return to my WiiFlow forwarder and it worked as expected.

I tested WiiU WideScreen for Nintendont through the WiiFlow Nintendont setting.

The excitement I experienced when it was all working.

-------

Beta 3 issue persists with booting Wii games. I tested 249 and 250 for forced cIOS.

-------

I tested with a clean root WiiFlow folder, apps/Wiiflow, and fresh Wiiflow save for both betas.

I waited great and I managed to copy and test today
Are these portions also for VC games or can you set working settings in the settings? :D

Still to be sure whether it is enough to copy and overwrite the existing files with the newest ones?
and what exactly is it: install files from Beta 3 and only 1 bin file from Beta 1 overwrite so well I understand only which one? ?
because there are 3 files in the bins folder .bin and which one?

I used the Beta 3 files except I used the apps/Wiiflow/bins folder of beta 1

It worked without any issues:

I used default boot settings

I tested Nintendont Multi Save option via WiiFlow Nintendont settings.

Ok, I understand, I will ask because I copied and tested now wiiflow_v5.5.0 beta 1 I hope this is a regular Wii edition not wii U because I would not like to mix something up and what I see is after short tests in, for example, Mario 64 after changing the settings to Paper Mario 64 NTSC or progressive and others still can't see any picture change etc? will Beta 3 be ok compared to Beata 1?

EDIT: Never Mind, the app was loading the files from apps/Wiiflow even though I had the files in a completely separate directory. When I removed the apps/WiiFlow folder The dol didn't boot. It shown the WiiFlow Boot image and then booted to the Homebrew Channel. I apologize for the additional tag Fledge.

This Didn't Work
I was able to compile the latest WiiFlow Lite source from your repo using the latest DevKitPro Toolkit. I tested it with a clean WiiFlow setup as well. I attached the files that I compiled.

The only change I made was to the root mainfile. I removed -u flag that was there for the two mv commands as I was getting errors. MacOS doesn't understand that flag.

Here is my setup

Code:
devkitppc-cmake-1.0.0-4 is up to date
 devkitppc-rules-1.1.1-1 is up to date
 libfat-ogc-1.1.5-2 is up to date
 libogc-2.3.1-1 is up to date
 ppc-pkg-config-0.28-5 is up to date
 wii-examples-20210525-1 is up to date
 wii-pkg-config-0.28-5 is up to date
 devkitPPC-r40-3 is up to date
 devkitPPC-gdb-7.6.2-1 is up to date
 gamecube-tools-1.0.3-1 is up to date
 general-tools-1.2.0-2 is up to date
 pkg-config-0.29.2-1 is up to date
 wiiload-0.5.1-1 is up to date

v5.5.0 beta 1 came before v5.5.0

if it's newer it will be v5.5.1 beta 1

so for now stick with the v5.5.0 release on github.

so i don't understand what app dol didn't boot? both of the 2 i had you try?

anyway i have a couple more tests. download wiiflow v5.5.0 from here - https://github.com/Fledge68/WiiFlow_Lite/releases

install it and then in the bins folder replace ext_booter.bin with these (one at a time) and try launching a game. let me know if either work.

I tried compiling the app myself with the latest DevKitPro tools and I couldn't even get it to boot past the WiiFlow Boot screen. That's what I meant but I hastily edited the page and maybe could have clarified lol.

I tried both of ext_booter 1 and 2 and both are unable to load a Wii game. Tested with cIOS 249, 250, and 251

Thank you so much for the mod of WiiFlow, first and foremost! It's great

Just to help anyone else that might have the issue: I had to set it to forces IOS to 249 (base 57) under Startup Options in order to get Wii games booting from SD:\wbfs\, otherwise it would black screen. Now everything's working swell!

As for the new Wiiflow 5.5.1 release, I have to admit that I have played a few games for comparison and I have the impression that
"VC games" work better than before, it is as if faster today I will check the corrected settings with which there were problems before, I hope it will be great
