I have ESR on my PS2 7xxx. I've burned GTA:SA for it and the first time I inserted it in the console it worked perfectly but the next time I did so my PS2 showed an error "DVD Player not set up" and ESR just froze on a pink/magenta screen. What should I do in order for it to work everytime?

Just dont use ESR to load it. Go to the browser and launch the disc. If you have atleast 2 memcards then just dont use fmcb. PS2 Can load esr patched games without anything.
This is semi correct.
If his disc is just ESR patched, he needs to launch ESR from somewhere.
If his disc is patched with FreeDVDBoot to chainload ESR, then he doesn't need FMCB or load ESR manually.
you maybe right. Is there any other ESR patches than freedvdboot? I didnt know that. (sorry for bad english.)
FreeDVDBoot and ESR are 2 separate things.
FreeDVDBoot = DVD Player exploit to launch unsigned code
FreeMCBoot = "Exploit" to launch unsigned code
ESR = Application to launch games from DVD which have been patched to look like DVD movies.
