I've just started using WiiMC on my Wii U and it's a godsend; I use a small CRT in my bedroom because I'm that kind of guy and I like old tech a lot. Even using an HDMI converter, Chromecast just wasn't comfortable.

However... I'm trying to watch the Beatles documentary (it's in 480p MP4, no problems regarding picture) and I'm pretty sure the volume setting is just not working at all. I'm using earphones on my Wii U Gamepad and the audio is pretty low. I guess by default it was on 50%; however, no matter what I do, nothing changes. I can press + or - on the Wiimote, I can change using the cursor, I can change the % on the settings, I can put it on maximum or minimum on the sliders; nothing changes at all. It keeps at the same volume no matter what I do.

Had anyone ever faced this issue? Any idea what I could do? I like watching things with earphones on as to not disturb neighbors or my brother during late hours.

I don't think WiiMC was developed with the wiiu game pad in mind, aside from developing the app further I'm not sure there's much you can do.

You could try getting a Bluetooth transmitter that connects to your TV, but if you're doing that you may as well just buy a fire tv stick or something that has Bluetooth built in. Other than that, I have no other ideas, good luck
