Hacking Why is my R4 With Wood V1.15 Stuck on Loading?

Hey, wondering if I can get some help.
I followed the tutorial on setting wood up on my R4 and have the following folders on the root of my SD card:
DSMENU DAT
_rpg
and a games folder
Previously I was using ysmenu, I am pretty sure my R4 is not a clone. It's not one of the R4is, SDHC etc.
Whenever I start up the R4, it hangs on the loading screen, what's going wrong?

try formatting yer MSD then putting the files again
if not then try to clean yer r4 by blowing and inserting the card slowing into the r4
i remember getting this when i didnt install it properly or my MSD wasn't inserted well (due to broken spring)

Say the complete name of the flashcard and the website what it says.

I don't know the website for the flashcard, I lost the box it came with. It justs says on the card:
R4 revolution for DS/DSL
And sorry for being such a noob, but how would I format the sd card?

How big is the SD card?

Only cards up to 2GB work on the original R4.

don't use SDHC cards
use panasonic SD Formatter to set it as FAT

Every card can label as R4 revolution for DS/DSL, and for original R4, it should be R4 Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS). And you can also screw and open your card, there should be a kind of chip marked 0815 for genuine one.
If it is genuine R4, of course you know it does not support SDHC SD card. Use panasonic Formatter to get it formatted.
If it still does not work, as far as we know, you can redownload the wood r4 v1.15, the former may be defective.

If it's a revolution, this is what i downloaded for my friend and it works perfectly on R4 1.34 firmware. Wood R4 thread is closed on GBAtemp.net...so idk what to tell you, you have to search for one.

It should have a build foler with a _rpg folder in it, put everything in the build folder on your root, and again...it's gone on GBAtemp.
