Homebrew Riivolution not loading games?

I recently downloaded some MKWII tracks to play using Riivolution, but after I click install and then play, nothing happens and my Wii sits until I turn it off. Is there something I did wrong with the install, or did I forget a step? I have installed d2x's cIOS onto my Wii and vWii.

replying to this thread because it still wont work, i've installed the d2x cios but i try to launch and it just hangs after i click install and then launch or just launch alone

I'm not sure why exactly Riivolution isn't working, but cIOSs aren't relevant (and in fact may break Riivolution; it requires an unmodified IOS37). And you should never try to install cIOSs on vWii, because they will most likely just brick the vWii.

Could you provide more information about what mods you're trying to run, exactly?

they are mario kart wii mods, and they are placed in the riivolution folder correctly afaik. it does the same things on my normal wii too

bumping again because it still wont work, still freezing when using riivolution on vwii and wii with mario kart wii mods
