Probly only when sales will drop or there will be another clone sold at cheaper price. As it's overpriced. Manufacturing modchip itself is a cost of 10-15$.
The price will only become more cheaper with more competition and manufacturers. Modchips are not used to find new vulnerabilities however.
Do you think at the end of life of Switch we'll have an exploit software?
We already have both of those and as you can see, its clearly not enough. A webkit exploit only allows for access to userland and TSEC is just a security bypass. Neither of those gives us enough access to run a CFW which requires kernel access. I don't know what the future will hold on but there is no guarantee that we will see anything at the end of the Switch's life.
What do you think has nintendo fixed in the past? There are no more trustzone bugs on 8.0.0+!
