I bought a switch off ebay with a no display issue.
I had to change the display FPC connector and also backlight FPC connector, now the switch displays no problem and also docks and everything.
The problem is the battery's not increasing, it will show charging sign tho I tried OEM batteries, third party batteries, OEM AC Adapter, different cables but nothing works.
replaced charging chip, charging connector (usb type c jack), left it plugged for 24 hours, the battery level just won't increase!
What other components are responsible for battery charging?

Stolen from here:

Most likely one of the chips on the motherboard is faulty. Could be the M92T36 chip and or the P13USB chip or possibly something else but those are the two most common. The easiest way to diagnose those is by looking for shorted capacitors near the chips like I show in this video:

There seems to be more than one chip involved. Which one did you replace?

Hello,
I have changed both M92T36 USB-C Power Charging Control IC and BQ24193 chip.
There are no shorted capacitors, even near PI3USB.
The battery would only increase if the switch is fully turned off and the switch is plugged in, not in sleep mode or while it's on, which is inconvenient, because I want to load atmosphere on it.
What could be the problem?
